Back in\u00a02004, he was one of the pioneers of<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Machinima\" target=\"_blank\">machinima.<\/a> When he saw an opportunity to create a digital set from inside the internet multiplayer role-playing game, <i>World of Warcraft<\/i> (WoW), he began work on a series of <i>WoW<\/i> films. Then, he uploaded them to websites like FilePlanet. Tristan\u2019s machinima films were downloaded over a million times in a pre-YouTube world.
